First things first, fast food is NOT in any way a replacement for whole food. However, a lot us travel often for work and sometimes we find ourselves stuck with limited options late at night or in airports. If you have fitness goals you are trying to reach or maintain, knowing which options on the menu are a better choice than others is going to keep you moving in the right direction.

Keep in mind, most fast food is very high in sodium, saturated fat, and the quality of meat is not great. You should not be relying on McDonald’s or Wendy’s to get your daily protein… but when you have to, these are your best options.
