Getting fit or healthy is not about constantly trying new diets or forcing yourself to work out 7 days a week. It’s about making small decisions in your everyday life that lead to living an overall better lifestyle. Here are 3️⃣ tips to help you live a healthier lifestyle:
1️⃣ Watch what you’re buying at the grocery store – your healthy eating habits start here! If you don’t buy unhealthy snacks then you won’t be as tempted to eat them. Also try and make little changes like buying whole grain bread instead of white or just buying less processed foods in general. Stay on the outsides of the grocery store!
2️⃣ Be more active during the day – park further from the grocery store, go on a hike instead of watching netflix, get up and stretch during your lunch break…it is recommended that you get AT LEAST 150 min of physical activity a week and doing small things like this can help you meet this goal.
3️⃣ Don’t forget about your mental health – take rest days and don’t obsess over the scale or over counting calories. Making small changes and creating a healthy lifestyle for yourself will lead to results if you are consistent!
