Raise your hand 🙋🏼‍♀️if one of your goals for 2019 is to eat more healthy. And to do that, we must first fill our fridges and pantries with healthy foods and snacks. Second, and very important is meal prep. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come home after a long day and am so tired I grab the first easy thing to pop in my mouth. Yes my friends, the dreaded OREO! And we all know that 1 leads to 2 then 3 then 4 until that clear crinkly bag is empty. I have the same issue with Pringle’s btw. In order to break the cycle, here are a few tips to get you started on your way to healthier eating.
✨Start with a nice clean fridge and freezer, by emptying out all of its contents, checking for spoiled/expired food and items, then wiping down and cleaning the interior from top to bottom.
✨Next, put everything back and make a list of all the healthy foods you want to buy.
✨Then, start the meal prep by cutting everything up and placing in containers.
Label containers that are not clear so you don’t have to rummage through everything. Trying doing this on a Sunday or Monday. ******
This truly is a great way to start for healthier eating habits and it most definely will keep you from grabbing that OREO or other unhealthy snack when you have options in the fridge that are neatly organized and ready to grab. Whose ready to start eating healthier? Would love to hear from ya all. ❌😘 -Deb pc: Thank you @chicly-organized for posting this awsome pic. of the perfect healthy fridge. #foodprep
