These warm, creamy Stovetop Apple Cinnamon Oats really hit the spot this morning (especially since my apartment is cold af)

To make, I combined 1 cup steel cut oats and 2 cups water (2 servings – saved one for breakfast tomorrow) in a stovetop pan on low-medium heat. Once they thickened (after about 6-7 minutes), I stirred in 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 tbsp @bobsredmill ground flax, and 1 scoop of @vitalproteins marine collagen. Added 1/4 cup @califiafarms almond milk creamer at the end for extra creaminess (normal nut milk has the same effect)

While the oats cooked, I sautéed some red apple pieces in my mini skillet on medium heat for a few minutes. I sprayed them with avocado oil and then sprinkled on some cinnamon and coconut sugar before adding them to the pan.

Additional toppings today included @greenvalleycreamery plain yogurt and a @fixandfogg PB drizz. YUM.
