REASONS WHY YOU ARE BLOATED IN A WHOLE FOOD PLANT-BASED DIET 🌱🤰🏼
Let’s be clear, I’m talking about fruits, veggies, wholegrain, non-proceed food ! Obviously if you eat junk food, meats & dairy, the bloating reasons are obvious ! .
But maybe you don’t understand WHY you’re eating so healthy & still so bloated ?? .
Don’t worry ! It’s normal ! Myself it’s something I have to dead everyday and still work on ! Waking up with a flat stomach in the morning (if I’m lucky) but look six months pregnant by ‪4pm‬ ! Obviously the cause are different for EVERYONE ! For me it’s simply because too much food & volume (3000kcal a day) but there is some others reasons possibles :

EATING OUT OF BALANCE : you can eat the heathiest in the word, if you’re missing one of the 3 macros, your body won’t function proprely. It’s especially true for healthy fats. So please, stop those HCLF fad if you don’t thrive on it ! .

EAT RAW/COOK FOOD SEPARATELY : i’m not a fan of food combining theories, but if you have a sensitive gut, eat food easy to digest such as fruits & raw veggies first, THEN the cooked ! .
I find the best to eat fruits first on an empty stomach as they are high in natural enzymes that can help with digestion duthing during the day, and THEN your cook food ! .

SOCK YOUR LEGUMES : contain anti-nutrients called phytates and phytic acid, that block the absorption of key minerals & increase gas

YOU’RE NOT USE TO THAT MUCH FIBER : whole plant-based foods are full of nutrition, but  can be difficult for those new to vegan (or not)  to digest.
For exemple, broccoli, cabbage, garlic, legumes, raw greens, … They contain a LOT of fiber & certain carbs  that break down and ferment in the gut, which is beneficial for health but can be very uncomfortable for you!

YOU’RE INTOLERANT TO CERTAIN FOODS : try out on yourself ans see which food cause you the most trouble !

DRINK ENOUGH : last but not least, do have proper bowel movement, you need to be enough hydrated
