Guys, trust us when we say this…there’s no such thing as good or bad calories. A Calorie is just a unit of energy and it has no moral value.⠀

It is true, some calories are more nutritious and some are just delicious! We all know that if you’re eating 1000 calories of junk food, your body won’t actually process the energy the same as if you were eating 1000 calories of whole foods, but that doesn’t mean that you should avoid delicious calories all together. ⠀

Eating fruit doesn’t make you any “better” than if you ate the same amount of calories in a donut. Your overall health is determined by what you do MOST of the time, not ALL the time, so do not stress about calories. You should aim to eat mostly nutritious ones, but you should also allow yourself to enjoy those delicious calories you love so much because TBH choosing fun foods from time to time has little to no impact in your health.⠀
